50 Cheer Gyms... 50 States Georgia Allstars ( 19 of 50)

The nineteenth gym I would like to introduce you to is the Georgia Allstars out of Roswell, Georgia.

Director/Owners:
Ray "Tater" Mills

Years Opened
:
This is year 26! We are one of the longest running programs in the country. We have seen this sport evolve from Competitions held in HS gymnasiums to expanding the floor size, to eventually evolving to a spring floor! We are so proud of how much our sport has improved!!

Colors:

Purple, Black, and White. Our motto is “Pride of the South” We love pushing the aspect of a competitive gym atmosphere with a close knit family feel. We love being a small gym with a big name.

What cheer competitions have you really enjoyed competing in the most?
We honestly love all of our competitions. We love Spirit of Hope in Charlotte, NC for its amazing cause it represents. We love traveling to NCA Nationals in Dallas! That one will always remain our highlight of the season. It’s like the Olympics of Cheer! One of our local favorites is Battle Under the Big Top hosted by All Star Challenge here in Atlanta. We have been enjoying that one for years!

What championship or placement are you most proud of at your gym?
Definitely our Worlds Titles. We also love our NCA Banners hanging from the ceiling. They are a good daily reminder to always strive for your best and give 100%!

What is something your would like our readers to know about your gym?
The gym was founded by Jamie Parrish in 1991 but passed down to fellow coach Ray “Tater” Mills when he purchased the legacy two years ago. He continues to promote the tradition of family and competitive hard work. He not only cares about his athletes and coaches, he wants all the families to feel welcome in the gym. He loves keeping traditions alive. That’s why we are called the Pride of the South!
